More Than 15 Years on the Floor.
My name is Javi, and hospitality has been a major part of my professional life for more than 15 years. Working in restaurants taught me far more than how to take an order or open a bottle of wine. It taught me service, communication, discipline, sales, product knowledge, attention to detail, and how much goes into creating a great guest experience.
Over the years, I became increasingly interested in the knowledge behind the job — especially wine, beer, spirits, and professional service. That interest led me to pursue formal beverage education while continuing to work in hospitality.
Javi the Waiter grew out of that experience. It is a place where I can share what I have learned, recommend resources that make sense for people in the industry, and create products based on problems and needs I have actually encountered while working on the floor.
